\n 6. Always log “Servicing request” (instead of just when debugging is
\n on). This allows start of pop sessions to be logged always which
\n is useful for diagnosis of problems.
\n 7. Worked around problem on some systems causing SIGALRM to be masked,
\n leaving hung pop processes which should have timed out waiting
\n for a command from the client.
